Welcome to my Travel Photography Galleries
Travel and photography are my two great passions. Happily for me, travel photography combines both. These galleries contain travel photography from my own beautiful country of Ireland as well as some of the places I have visited on my travels. My favourite travel photography location is France and in particular, the city of light itself, Paris. Other locations I have photographed during my travels include The Netherlands, Germany and Tunisia. I will shortly be adding Prague and the Greek Islands to that list.

While traveling, I have a preference for shooting landscapes, cityscapes and streetscapes although I enjoy trying some street and documentary photography from time to time. I tend to work mostly in the morning and evening when the sun is low in the sky, casting a golden glow over the scene in front of me. The hour or so before sunrise is a wonderful time for shooting landscapes when the light has a pale almost pastel quality. I enjoy shooting cities during the ‘blue hour’ after sunset when the city lights have just come and the city seems to really come to life.
