I am an landscape photographer based in the city of Dublin. I specialize in travel, landscape and cityscape photography although I enjoy experimenting with other genres from time to time. I am at my happiest when combining my love of photography with my love of travel. There is nothing quite like exploring a new city with my camera at the ready.
I believe that the quality of light is what really makes a photograph great and I en-devour to shoot my landscapes and cityscapes when the light is at its best, an hour or so either side of sunrise and sunset. As a proud Irish photographer, I obviously enjoy shooting in my own beautiful green country. I also have a strong affinity to my wife’s native country of France. I particularly enjoy shooting in the City of Light itself, Paris. You will find a large selection of photography from Paris in the galleries.
In 2011, I won the Tom Shanahan Memorial Photography Competition (open to members of all the photography clubs in North Dublin). In 2009, I became a Licentiate of the Irish Photographic Society (L.I.P.F.) and am currently preparing my Associateship (A.I.P.F.). I held my first exhibition in November 2010 and plan to hold more in the near future.
